Family Care…
All about loving “HIM” and loving “THEM”.

You may ask,” What is Family Care?” Family Care is a highly effective ministry that revolves around caring for and loving on the families of this church.  Because it is impossible for Pastor Poe and Pastor Sheree to touch each family at Mercy Crossing on a weekly basis, the Lord – through the help of Pastor Tony Capps and Invision Ministries – taught us a better way to minister to the entire congregation. 

With the help of Care Pastors, Equippers and Encouragers, we strive to make personal contacts several times each month to show our members and regular attenders that we CARE and stand ready to ENCOURAGE and PRAY for them in this journey called “life.” Whether by means of a card, email, phone call or fellowship, it is our desire to help multiply joys and share in dividing sorrows.

You may also ask,” Is there a place for me and my family within this ministry?”  Absolutely! There is always room for more in this wonderful family of God.  Simply be a guest in one of our services, fill out a registration card and then join us for one of our monthly New Friends’ Luncheons where you will meet our Pastors, staff and other guests in a relaxing, friendly and casual setting.

Matthew 22: 37 – 39

Jesus said to him,” You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 John 4: 7 – 8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
