Mercy Music Ministries is an exciting worship department comprised of the The Mercy Music Choir, Rhythm Section, Orchestra and Praise Team.  The adult choir ministers every Sunday morning at 10:30 am to the congregation and to the community through our weekly television broadcast on local cable station BTW21 on Thursdays at 12 noon and on Sundays at 9:00 pm.   Mercy Music Ministries consists of approximately 85 people and is always open to new singers and musicians who are gifted musically and committed to Christian service. 

Pastor of Music & Worship, Mark Stocks has served as leader of the department for eight years.  Other leadership includes Choir President - Helen Jones, Assistant Choir Director – Sheree Poe, and Assistant Worship Leader – Tim Cassell. 

The choir ministers in many various ways including concerts in Virginia and North Carolina, annual musical productions which are normally in December, and through benevolent opportunities such as jail and rest home ministry.  The choir is currently working on it’s first recording project entitled “Favor” which will be released in November of 2009. 

The worship style of Mercy Music is eclectic, but certainly combines gospel and contemporary flavors with high energy
