This is The Church at Mercy Crossing.  We are a group of people called to minister compassion to our community and our world while leading them to the cross where they can make life changes that will last for eternity.  Under the leadership of Pastors Jackie and Sheree Poe, God has truly placed us here to be the Crossroads to a New Tomorrow.

 

The Church (called out ones; ekklesia) – at Mercy (compassion that forbears punishing even when justice demands it; kindness) – Crossing (the cross symbolizing Christian faith and sacrifice and crossing meaning the intersection of two ways; the crossroads of life).


Events


Prayer Vigil: The church sanctuary will be open for prayer from 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 11th, until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12th. If you have not signed up for an hour of prayer or if you would like more information, please see Donna Odell or Mary Taylor. You may also call the church office at 276.956.1978.

Spring Fling: Mercy Crossing Christian Academy will host their annual Spring Fling here at the church on Saturday, April 26th, from 12:00 - 3:00. Inflatables, games, prizes and food will be available for children of all ages.

Announcements


Mercy Music Sanctuary Choir: The choir will be ministering at the Rocky Mount Church of God on Wednesday evening, April 16th, at 7:00. The church is located at 1360 N. Main Street. Our pastor, Jackie Poe, will be the guest speaker for the service.

Sounding the Call Banquet: Please remember to RSVP to this special event as soon as possible. If you are a member or attendee of Mercy Crossing and did not receive an invitation, please call the church office so that we can forward your information.
